Motorola Droid Bionic launch date tipped for August 4th

The launch date for Verizon’s upcoming Motorola Droid Bionic has leaked
Android enthusiast site Android Central is reporting that the long awaited Motorola Droid Bionic will be hitting Verizon August 4th.
First introduced way back at CES 2011, the Droid Bionic will likely be powered by a dual-core Tegra 2 processor and 1GB of RAM. The device also has a 4.3 or 4.5-inch qHD display, HDMI output, and will run Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread. The Bionic will be very very fast.
Additionally, the Bionic will feature an 8-megapixel camera with a 1.3-megapixel webcam, as well as 16 GB of internal storage and DLNA capability. Expect great photographs, as well as great recorded video.
If you recall, the original Droid Bionic was delayed and perhaps cancelled sometime after CES. This new Droid Bionic is thought to be a bigger, better Bionic. No one is really sure yet what is better or even different about this newer Bionic just yet though.
That said, despite not knowing a lot about the Bionic, it’s good to know it’s hitting Verizon shelves soon.
