HTC unveils the EVO 4G+

HTC has taken the wraps off the EVO 4G + in South Korea, though it could be destined for Sprint in the states
HTC has officially unveiled the EVO 4G+ in South Korea, a phone that is basically an EVO-branded HTC Sensation.
The use of the EVO name is a bit curious since it’s a Sprint brand. The phone is also nearly identical to the HTC EVO 3D – which is set to launch tomorrow, June 24th on Sprint.
As Engadget points out, it seems plausible that the EVO 4G+ could end up on Sprint sometime in the not too distant future. Though it would seem odd to release the 4G+ on the heels of the EVO 3D – thereby cannibalizing its sales.
Then again, an upgrade to the popular EVO 4G would likely be well received.
At any rate, the EVO 4G+ looks like a serious contender with a qHD display, 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and 8 megapixel rear camera.
